Archive for July, 2007

God has always taken care of our family of 6. The beginning of 2007 was a rocky one for our family…My husband’s lower back left him dependent on me and our 4 kids to get dressed, get around…Our van broke down-so much so that we had to buy a new one…I had 2 surgeries (minor ones) during April and May- closed a 10 year self-employed business to decide to stay home with my ever-so-fast-growing kids and recover…and much more. God was with us each step of the way. We always have God’s music on—in our cars, in the house. Our family attends SonShine Festival in Willmar, MN every year (for the past 17 years) and would love to attend Higher Ground as a family. Our kids are 14, 9, 6, and 3 and LOVE Christian Music and GOD! Our new family motto is “Don’t worry about tomorrow (about this and that)…God IS ALREADY THERE!” We strive to remind ourselves and our kids how blessed we are through Christ. He has put us on higher ground. No matter what comes our way—the latest is a $850 bill at the kids’ dentist—God is there to pick us up and lift us to higher ground! Thank you KFNW for the great music and constant encouragement to be better Christians.

We had a great time at Family Jam in Detroit Lakes on Sunday, July 8.  Check out the pics below! To get a description, hover your mouse over a pic.
